Did he run Trudi - couldn't see anything in the results? Freedom to Dream is out tomorrow at Naas - we need to see a little more spark http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-diary/2024/1/27/kkip6ablhcjoi1rfunk5los6gx26ge

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Have it on good authority that Sky Lord (3.30 Leop) is a bit special. Separately, and just an observation, this may be the day Karuma Grey (2.40 Limerick) starts his winning sequence

Am I crazy for thinking that a horse who finished 4th in the Martin Pipe off 135 should not be 25/1 in tomorrow's race off a 126 rating? Probably! http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-diary/2023/11/25/somebody-must-be-crazy

Not a thread I ever wanted to write on. Just a quick update on Suprise Package after his win at Cork yesterday. He was sore last night and it turns out he has broken his leg. I was at the stables when the vet x-rayed him. He had a 50:50 (at best) chance of racing again (a year off, at least)...

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Yesterday was one of the good days; today is one of the bad ones. He was sore last night and it urns out he has broken his leg. I was at the stables when the vet x-rayed him. He had a 50:50 (at best) chance of racing again (a year off, at least) with an...

He seemed absolutely ok after the race. We'll see how he is this morning but it all seems ok. Still the plan to go to Aintree but may squeeze another race in. (and great to see you, as well)

Thanks for the messages guys. He is obviously not himself and we will be giving him a full MOT. No point in planning anything until we have him right. He looked very lethargic (even in the parade ring) and it seems there's something paining him which in his head before he races. He wasn't...

The racing this weekend at the DRF is off the charts. I am so lucky to have a horse running on the same day as the best Novice Chase we have seen for years. We will need some luck but, at his best, he has a real chance (better than the 25's I have taken)...
