I've managed to replicate it. When you reduce it, you can make adjustments by grabbing the edge and dragging it. It looks as though you've inadvertently dragged it down to it's current size, just grab and expand the minimised one.

My first thought is to save the doc, close it and reopen it.

I'm rather hoping I haven't had a discussion with DO about self service tills in the past!
