Lingfield 3.48 Kate O’Riley ran better than the bare result. Held up and travelling noticeably well until the pace dropped mid-race, meaning she was widest and well back turning for home. She didn’t beat many home but was not beaten far, and on a less sharp track, getting another couple of...

Then nothing ever changes. It is the same people who laid both horses in both claimers. This is not widespread corruption. It is a small cohort of people who amuse themselves by corrupting racing.

Firstly, I really appreciate your reply but I want to state one thing. The BHA evidence is a red herring. You can't ever prove someone jumped off a horse.

As a test case. Staffordshire Knot will be interesting next time out. He's had two hard races now on bottomless ground. I wouldn't want to be on him next time.

The 2026 William Hill Handicap Hurdle

It's 2026 where the top rated horse would barely get into a Cheltenham handicap. The name of the race doesn't elevate it beyond what it was, a shit race.

The 2026 William Hill Handicap Hurdle

“Almost certainly in Europe” is meaningless. We are dealing with a depleted hurdling division where winning handicaps no longer has any historical context. When was the last time a handicap winner properly moved up to Grade 1 company? State Man only did it because he fell at Leopardstown. There...
