I've always loved Romeo but boy does he give me heart palpitations at times!

Just came on to say I was very taken with the second, Selma De Vary. First start for the yard after three runs in France, she was settled out the back and was only produced late on really. She looks like she will come on for that and could have a turn of foot lurking on better ground. Liked the...

Taking performance in the first by Doctor Steinberg. Travelled well and picked up strongly.

I still believe she was knocked sideways last year by State Man as he came down. I rewatched it and haven't changed my mind.

Anchored out the back to get him to settle. He should run much better next time.

Very much better and he looked comfortable in front setting a decent pace. He did reach slightly for a couple and I wonder if he was taken on, it might put him under pressure. But you'd be much happier going back to Cheltenham now with him.

Just nailed but a tough performance from Ballyfad though. Jumped well and looked like he'd be swallowed up and he hung tough. Winner did well to get up there though. Was on The Reverend as he is my tracker so was a bit annoyed.

Nice! Wendigo is a really bonny horse and a lovely one to be involved in.

I wouldn't put anything past them to be honest. I watched Graham Cunningham slating the ride yesterday too. That said, he wouldn't be my idea of a GC winner anyway.

I missed the maiden that Charme de Faust won - were you impressed? Said it was 8 seconds faster than El Cairos. She's now 14-1 for the Triumph.

He's certainly got gears and in that ground too is impressive. I would worry about those mistakes he makes especially up in grade but there is no doubting his talent.

Welcome too Runa! Hope you enjoy yourself on here. Think Chaumi has summed it up well. We all try to keep an eye on the Skelton horses on here having been burnt often! They tend to stick on an inexperienced jockey, run over an inadequate trip and then send it for a handicap at the Festival...

    Coko Beach?

I'll keep a eye out for him and let you know as soon as he has an entry.

    Coko Beach?

I have just checked the database and can't find him atm so presumably no entries as yet. Do you know who has him?

My vet (and my late dad) would say it's all about quality of life. If you feel that your pet doesn't have that then it's time to make the hardest decision of all. But if he's still coping OK and the painkillers are doing their job, he's eating, isn't incontinent then you hang on until he isn't.

I can only echo Danny's words about the time we met you (apologies if I was the reason for not cementing that properly - am I really that difficult to keep an eye on?) My post about the filly I lost to colic took an age to write and I sat there sobbing for about an hour afterwards - I...
