Jamada has been given a mark of 111 which I think is OK. Winner (easy) has only gone up 1lb to 118 and the third who was fav has been dropped 2llbs to 118 also. So I think that gives us a nice opening handicap mark for next time - fingers crossed1

I thought so too that he was bottling in in that run at Punchestown. And once your horse's confidence has g one, it's hellish difficult to get it back. Nico is also subconsciously thinking about it which will make the horse doubt himself even more. Bowen at least still has the bravado of youth...

Do we not think Hendo is going to be swayed by the drama with his other "best" horse over the weekend? He looked devastated about Sir Gino so what would a fatal fall to CH do to him? Out of all owners too, Michael Buckley doesn't strike as being non-compassionate.

Backing Venetia Williams' Chasers In November with Andrew Mount

Yes she was. I imagine she's going through hell atm and I really feel for her. When you have checked everything and you still are nowhere nearer finding an answer, it's soul destroying. The conversation I had with Jim Old who also experienced the same was similar. He said literally nobody...

Oh no! Hope she is OK - I'm very fond of Miss N. She's a really lovely girl (organised our trip to the yard and donated the prize for the raffle)

    Champion Hurdle 2026

From what my poor memory recalls, wasn't Brighterdaysahead completely stopped in running in last seasons CH? When State Man fell? She may well have been coming to the end of her run and wouldn't have beaten State Man but I think would have finished closer to GA.

That makes sense. I think more and more gut health is becoming apparent as to being so important in many areas of health. I read that healthy faecal implants for those with Bipolar can have an incredible benefit. So to start with the right feed as a foal must be the way to go. You'd presume...

Yes I saw his tail up so I think this was a good spot. Horses that suddenly carry their tails awkwardly can be an indicator of something not right. It appears to be the opposite side from the infected ligament too so you can also wonder if there is a weakness on the ligament side so he was...

What is his theory behind modern feeding? I was of the opinion that the old fashioned "bran mash" on a Saturday after work in preparation for a non-active Sunday actually was detrimental due to the bran altering the calcium phosphorus ratio and therefore leading to weaker bone density?

Oh I didn't realise. I thought I had seen that they had a hospital next to where the coaches all used to park? But no it looks like a small animal unit. There was me thinking - oh it's got an amazing on site hospital so every eventually is catered for - but no. That does surprise me to be...

Could alternatively be a fractured femur (bone at the top which is harder to diagnose) My dad would have been saying "stick a hand up his a*se to have a feel" which was the traditional way to feel for any bone movement. He actually advised my vet to do so after he had his serious accident 8...
