    What are you backing Today?

Hopefully that was just greenness and not recalcitrance because the horse has an enormous engine and if Pauling can teach him to jump a fence I think he's a potential GC horse of the future.

    Leopardstown Christmas

    wrong :)

    What are you backing Today?

He's no price but Barters Hill is the only horse I've put up to follow and I think he'll laugh at these.

    Leopardstown Christmas

No More Heroes is very short today given he's up against a proven G1 stayer over hurdles and he throws in the odd bad one. The Punchestown G1 novice stayers hurdle from last year is the form to follow, not the spud race and Ive laid him today on the basis that there are enough reasons for him to...

Thistlecrack was wildly impressive today.. Cantered all over them.

Flat racing has suffered since then. STS then Frankel has been difficult to follow....

    The Two Mile Chase thread

Its difficult to predict but certainly visually the way he went on from the field at Cheltenham was reminiscent of his pomp. I really hope he can get back to somewhere near where he was.

Allez Colombieres was odds on in a grade 1 against Nichols Canyon first time over hurdles and Douvan was his lead horse... He must have been something special at home. Shame we never got to find out how good.

The Well Worn Road To The Champion Hurdle (2016)

Would tend to agree. Because of his flat pedigree/form everyone assumes he'll be a stayer but i'm not convinced. Backed him plenty last year including the Neptune when I was disappointed but thought he didn't stay. Was quick and low over his hurdles and given Ruby's comments in the lead up...

    Paddy Power Gold Cup

I thought Boondooma was ultra impressive last time and despite the rise will carry my money today.

    The Hennessy (Newbury)

Just watched his victory from the weekend - Is it me or has he grown?!

    The Hennessy (Newbury)

If the word soft is in the ground i will be backing him, if it was good ground i'd have my doubts. On soft ground he's a monster and his GC seems to have been underrated in my opinion but had the ground been as it was on the Tues/Thurs that week in March, i'm not sure he would have won it...

Agreed, Fingers crossed for Mr Moore.

    Breeders Cup 2015

This is an interesting race. American Pharaoh will probably get his own way in front unless there is a change of tactics and I doubt he will set the most testing fractions; I would expect Espinoza to set moderate fractions and then kick away on the turn. This might help Gleneagles and his...

I can't desert Golden Horn now. Backed him again although not as big as for the Arc. Concerned about Found and the ground....

    Breeders Cup 2015

Incredibly impressive. Just saw the replay of the Beverley D/Secret Gesture DQ. How did she lose that?!!!!! Wow, Stephanies Kitten never would have won, regardless of what Secret Gesture did... Unreal. If she brings her A-Game, Legatissimo will win the Filly and Mares. Took 11/10, expected her...

    What are you backing Today?

Backed Rock on Ruby today, I hope he wins. Closing Ceremony is my biggest concern.

    Breeders Cup 2015

Backed stopchargingmaria. Expect her to sit just off the pace and is better than the result last time. Track will also suit. Decent e/w play.
