Enjoyed his interview after the Owl Of Athens gamble a couple of years ago

Similar thoughts about Break My Soul. Think I'll be backing in the Grand Annual but would be very interested if she turns up at Aintree. Enjoyed herself in the Aintree Hurdle last year.

Are Iroko, Jagwar and Johnnywho really going to the Ultima? Wouldn't surprise me if he put Kenneally or a similar claimer on one of them. No-one but Jonjo's ridden any of them this season.

Point Blank: Robert Heneghan v Gearóid Norris is going to the High Court

Seconded. Saw in Ross Brierley's RP column today: "Being a tipster these days is easy. Pick a race, find a horse you like, choose the biggest price, make a semi-reasonable case for your selection, share it with the world and watch the price collapse. If the horse wins, it’s boom time with as...

    Hello

Big fan of the Isle of Man. Some strong racing connections with Trevor Hemmings, Ann and Alan Potts and these days Tyson Fury. Didn't there used to be a meeting run on the island?

Have to feel for Sean Bowen. 10 years in the saddle and never had a Cheltenham Festival winner. Missed Haiti Couleurs last year as he had to ride Resplendent Grey for Olly Murphy. Will be a similar story in the NH Chase this year with Wade Out / Backmersackme. Thought Indeevar Bleu would give...

    The 2026 Cheltenham Gold Cup

Was a bloody awful Gold Cup last year with hindsight - only 9 runners as well

Backed Murcia in the Fred Winter last year and she wasn't interested. Find it hard to forgive a bad run at The Festival™.

Think if I had to rank the 28 races by how confident I am in finding the winner, the Supreme might be #28. Gold Cup #27.

Your Favourite Uncle Smart Arse's Three Golden Rules On Cheltenham Festival Preview Nights

When I was at university and didn't know much about racing, I saw Jeremy Kyle pop up on one of the channels making Dodging Bullets his nap for the Champion Chase. Was good enough for me, a 9/2 winner 🎺

    Andrew's Cheltenham Angles #4 Thursday

Thanks Simon, have been enjoying these. Would the top 10 Cheltenham bets Andrew mentioned be publicly-available?

Probably can't blame them, imagine the pitch and expenses are pretty expensive. But 4 places in a 34-runner race just doesn't cut it anymore, especially when few horses are bigger than 33/1.

Like it, that Champion Hurdle entry seemed unusual so they must think he's pretty good - helpful that he's not going to the Morebattle too
