    2yo debutants.

Thinking about yesterdays 80/1 winner at Newbury, Into the Night. What's everyones thoughts. I was mightily impressed. Market leaders were 2nd, 3rd + 4th. I suppose it's only a matter of time before Watthan or anyone else comes knocking.

    Stewards Cup 2025.

Dual winner Commanche Falls, appeals at 66/1 7 places ( Skybet ). Probably on the downgrade, but as recently as last August, he ran likely fav Elmonjed to a length at the Ebor meeting + is something like 21lb better off. Don't think the ground matters to the old boy.

    French Derby 2025.

Had a look at this yesterday. I don't feel that there is a potential stand out performer, so it's very intriguing that master trainer Fabre, has thrown in Sinileo, who only made his racecourse debut two weeks ago. There are a couple who I think are value. Puppet Master looks steadily...

    Irish 2000 Guineas.

Not a sure runner, but Rashabar is still in there, after the latest forfeit stage. 20s + 25s in a place, I think is a bit of value. That form of the 2yo G1 on Arc day looks pretty good now. Satisfactory return in the Greenham, where Jonquil hardly let the form down, when touched off in the...

    70s

Since retirement a few weeks ago, I've been drawn back to the music I spent all my teenage years listening to. Santana, Steely Dan, Eagles etc.. one band I had forgotten how good they were, are Supertramp. These 3 albums, Crisis what Crisis. Crime of the century + Even in the quietest moments...

    Arc 2024.

Might as well be me who kicks it off. Anyone caught your eyes, for the big one in October ? I suppose the two Derby winners are obvious candidates. One who caught my attention was Sosie. Didn't have the best of runs, before staying on to be 3rd in the French Derby yesterday. Trained by the...

    Coronation Cup.

Looking at a pretty poor turn out, if the erratic Emily Upjohn is odds on. Just in case the weather remains unsettled + we get the word soft, in the going description. I may have a speculative ew punt on Hamish at 50s. Only 5 runners last season. Dont imagine many more than that on the day.

    Kilarney.

In the 4.30, the Kilarney National. Cavalry Master, maybe a lively longshot. A course winner. I think he will appreciate the decent ground judging by his past efforts. Took the notable scalp of Hewick in similar conditions when they were novice chasers. An ew nibble at 28s for me.
