Some massive films coming next year

Spiderman 3
Harry Potter 5
Shrek 3
Die Hard 4
Pirates 3
The simpsons
Transformers
The Bourne Ultimatum

It looks like the year for the blockbuster. Predictions for the biggest gross

1 - Spidey by quite a way
2 - Harry
3 - Pirates
4 - Shrek
5 - Simpsons
6/7 - Bourne/Die Hard
8 - Transformers

I am looking forward to transformers the most but most of that is nostalgia for the greatest cartoon EVER!!!! Nice to see Bruce has finally got around to making Die Hard 4 too
78 - Trasformers

What about Rambo 4 ? i know thats on its way, and if its anything like the new Rocky film that I watched this afternoon it'll be a cracker.

I read a thread like this and it just confirms to me how old and feckin' miserable I'm getting!!

30-y-os looking forward to seeing Spiderman and Transformer films?!?!?! :shy:

I can't wait for Transformers. Look what they can do in the Citroen advert and multilpy those effects by a Hollywood budget.

Looking at the list I hope that we're going to have one or two decent films that are:

(i) Not sequels

(ii) Not "films of the book"

(iii) Not based on comic strips

Yes, wouldn't that be good for a change? Films that sprang virgin from the womb of their creator, not replicants. (I thought a little seasonal analogy would be be apropos there.)

As someone who loves films that list is truly uninspiring. I echo Brian's sentiments above totally.

Bourne Ultimatum best of a bad bunch? Who knows.

I echo Brian's views.

The Spartans?? should be innovative and I look forward to seeing it.
I think the film you are talking about is called "300" and yes it does look great.

To all those people criticising the selection I am sure there are hundreds more films that will be released to satisfy you, I just chose what it thought would be the biggest grossing films

I sat and watched The Pursuit of Happyness the other day.

A struggling salesman (Will Smith) takes custody of his son (Jaden Smith) as he's poised to begin a life-changing professional endeavor.

A great film to which i think its Will Smiths best ever performance as a actor, its a truely touching true story about one man and his sons struggle to get somewhere in life even if that means living on the streets.
