Now that the Ten To Follow competition is finalised, it is time to also announce the result of the Winter Prize which goes to best overall performance in the Cheltenham Ante Post and Ten to Follow competitions.
The Ante Post competition had two parts, the prize for the most valuable portfolio (MVP) on the eve of the festival and the main prize, which was for the portfolio of bets which made the biggest profit (AP). Perpetual won the main prize and trophy, while viking won the MVP prize (for the second year in a row). The Ten To Follow competition has been won by wilsonl.
The Winter Prize, most generously put up by (ahem) Grey, has been won by (ahem ahem) Grey. After being 2nd in each of the two parts of the Ante Post competition, 9th place in the Ten To Follow (8th when only counting participants in both competitions) was enough to get over the line.
Many thanks to everyone taking part in the competitions, to Diamond Geezer and NewApproach for organising and scoring and to all those who put up prizes.
