2023 Classic Crop

Why would you ask the question in the first place other than to insult by inferring such a lack of knowledge? We don't exactly have a history of joking with each other.

If it was a genuine attempt at a joke then I apologise for reading it wrongly but I reckon I have the right to defend myself against insults. They do nothing for the flow of the forum.
You're the one getting uptight, and it's up to you to fix it.

Tidy indeed. Looked the Arc winner from his last run. That said, could be another Sea Of Class type finish.

The French have this though!

I'm holding off until at least after the Grosser Preiss von Baden. The Germans have a habit of throwing up something strong late in the season, especially fillies.

St Leger winner Continuous looks very interesting for Autumn honours wherever he shows up.
Pity the Arc is in 15 days., he might do what no other 3yo has done yet.

I did a quick calc of the race today. It left me underwhelmed. I'll go back and check it again with a closer look at the time later in the week and with a fresh mind since I'm conscious that I rated it substandard beforehand so I might be framing it within that parameter.

I see the RPRs are going 121 for the winner and I can't help thinking that's down to race standardisation but even a figure like that would leave him with at least 7lbs to find to have any chance in a proper all-age G1, certainly in Europe.
