Well today was the day. No more offspring for the house of Griffin  Mr GG is needle phobic and he says the local anaesthetic injection was a walk in the park compared with what came next. The anaesthetic really didn't work at all and he felt the whole lot! :o   He shouted and swore an awful lot and thought the guy doing it would stop but all he said to him was "you probably needed more anaesthetic because you're such a big lad". In his youth, he was the British Taekwondo champion and lifted a lot of weights, so he's not slightly built. If they knew that the bigger you are, the more anaesthetic required, I cannot understand why they made him suffer. I can't believe he carried on knowing that Mr GG could feel it all. He says it felt like they were trying to pull his belly button out of his dinkle, and that particular part got burnt when the guy nearly dropped his cauterising tool!

He had a shot of vodka in the carpark before going in and has got stuck into the bottle since coming home. He says it's helping :P

His message for all men on here considering such surgery is "Head for the hills".

I feel physically ill. Is there any way someone can ban Merlin?

Griffin give Mr Grumpy a hug, he's braver than Mr Isty, he had an appointment and completely chickened, I then had to spend the rest of the day telling him it was ok and he really wasnt a coward (yeah right).

Just as well it's wimmin who have kids, isn't it? You can imagine how much further families would get than the first - and only - born if blokes had to put up with hours of contractions!

Didnt do the contraction thing (fibroids) but I do now have a tummy that fits nicely over my jeans. Cessarians are not the best option, If I could oF i would of. I reckon I need to talk to Griffin about the real pain.
