Thank you for your e-mail which has been passed to me for reply.

I am extremely disappointed and surprised to learn that you have not had a reply

to any of the 4 e-mail's you have been sent and can assure you your

complaint will be fully investigated. As you say this is not good customer service and

we normally reply to e-mail as they arrive in the in box within 10-20 minutes unless they arrive

after 6pm then they are answered the following morning.

Regarding not receiving your Totesport diary, the criteria for the promotion this year was set at £300,

Which meant a customer had to have staked over £300 over the course of the year to qualify for the

Diary promotion and on looking at your account you did not qualify. Never the less, I have arrange for a diary

To be sent today.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Regards

The written language in that email is diabolical - if someone is in a position whereby they will be entering into written communication with customers the very least that you can expect is that they are literate!

but what about the content regarding having to bet £300 is that the same as your company S/L or what critira do they set as to send their customers a diary??? I would be pleased to know if this is an industry standard or not???

We don't do diaries, Merlin. When I was at SJ they just sent them to all accounts that had been active during the year, I'm sure. First I've heard of a punting limit put on.

S/L yes I would have thought the same as you and would not have thought the criteria was set @ £300... but to be given as a token of goodwill to customers who bet regularly and pay promptly that I would have thought would have sufficed ????????????????

thanks anyhow......... ;)

"The criteria 'was' set... " :angy: - Merlin, you must close your account with these numb-nuts immediately. I support the criticism above - any company which is incapable of sending out a coherently-written communication is not worthy of your custom. Drop them like the proverbial, now!
