Very sad - and as much as I cannot abide the Reuben brothers Shepway DC have a lot to answer for in this .
Then again when the Racecourse Holdings Trust was set up partly it was to try and prevent this sort of thing happening but JCR showed no interest when this happened . Foolish of them they could have bought it and built on it as they plan with Kempton
Fortunately , it seems Spelthorne DC may be far from a push over in that respect .

Building on green belt land remains very difficult especially when the local authority is vehemently opposed . One has to live in hope.
