Another high-profile owner bites the dust

I think people sometimes just overstretch themselves. I wonder what’s happened to his retired horses: someone on Facebook said he kept quite a few horses at his home.

He is/was a doctor and the TV people, as is their wont, often referred to him as "the good doctor".

But the article says he had a lot of business involvements, including Hilton Double-Tree hotels.

Nothing surprised me when an owner falls by they wayside not since Terry Ramsden who's company had a turnover of £3.5 billion

He owned some great horses in his time like Katies who he won a kings ransom off Katies at Royal Ascot when she beat Pebbles and Lester.

When thing turn out like that owner who are only human get it into their heads they can't lose......they know everyone bla bla bla.

Of course you get the level headed ones like Rich Ricci who takes the rough with the smooth and appears to be way too smart to be chasing his losses.

Terry, as great a character as he is, lost £58 million in less than 3 years.

The word was if he lost £2 million by Friday that was a good week.

I don't know for sure but at a guess I'd say most owners who fall by the wayside have had gambling problems
