I think I may have missed your point when I replied hurriedly earlier. Do you mean the person in question posted the results but was trying to make it look like they were always on the "winning side" even when they lost? The last time I saw a thread this entertaining was on Direct Racing when a guy called "The Fly" used to post. He had the best staking plan ever, Slim will appreciate this. He used to put selections up, if they won, he had £1000 on them, but if they lost he only had 50p on them. Made a fortune.
Waters. Swirly chaserWho was the lad on here that wrote the glorious thread “Weight Doesn’t Matter”? Phil what?
That's it! Legend.Waters. Swirly chaser
Thank you, DannyI don't know whats going on the thread gives me a headache but im taking it at face value and well done on turning a profit Hobbit.
Kind words, SirI've had to unwatch this thread as it was making my notifications go off like an Uzi, but I'm taking a daily look and THR seems a genial chap - it's all good.

Thank you.Yes. It's a headache.
There was a guy on here a while ago called Chris Beek - he might have some experiences to share with you.
Thank youAs well as you receiving general advice maybe someone who's on TH will DM you to give you their take on syndicates.
GL on your journey.
It's the forum I post on, so obviously. Is this the best forum for Horse racing in the UK and Ireland?
Thanks @Ian_DaviesIt's the forum I post on, so obviously.
Chris Beek was, I think it's fair to say, a disreputable character - some tongue-in-cheek material above.
Racehorse ownership is a more prolonged way of losing money than flushing it the loo, syndicates complicate the process still further, but that's just my take on it - some enjoy one or both enormously.
It's not for me, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be for you.

Correct, they could. Why don't they just come on here and use your selections hobnob. ?? What's in it for them??
Was the previous selections on this thread a trial for us and now we have to pay?
How much do you charge? I'll be happy to empty my bank account for your syndicate.. Will you post me the winnings or do I have to pay for the selections and put my own bets on?
I haven't got time for that
Ask your friends, cheers![]()
Don't do it.Morning one and all
I am seeking advice from those far more experienced than myself.
A couple of my friends have asked me if I would consider running a syndicate.
My first reaction was to reply "Sounds like a headache".
Does anyone have any experience of this and if so, what are the benefits (Not sure I can see any at present) and drawbacks, beyond the obvious risk of loss involved.
I was on about horse racing syndicates.I agree with Slim, betting syndicates are never a good idea.
I thought you were talking about shares in a horse.
There is an entire thread dedicated to him. Read it in its entirety.Thank you.
Is he still on here?
