Caveats =

I Ignore prices the day before, they frequently change and are often misleading.

I am only interested in horses that I believe cannot win.

I often drop a horse from the list on the day, if the race is altered in any way;
  1. A stronger horse becomes a non runner on the day
  2. Rain does not prevent the race, but is unfavourable to stronger horses
  3. The jockey is changed on a stronger horse
  4. Worst scenario = Several horses become non runners
Finally, I always stop when I have achieved even a penny over my desired target, or if any of the above affects the remaining choices, whichever comes first.

Oh and ....

Conclusive proof your average hobbit is a complete bottle merchant - the ones who have adventures and who you get to read about in books the size of house bricks and see in movies that go on forever are the exceptions, most hobbits just hang around the Shire all day, eating several meals, drinking beer, and smoking dodgy-looking pipes containing even dodgier substances.

Well done, though - a profit's a profit.

Yeah, I am not willing to chase a dream. 750 is a decent "days work".

Especially after those two farcical days last week
