I'm having a breather now, (that's probably code for a few beers) until New Years Day.

I had a look at Cheltenham on New Years Day.

I'm hoping for more luck then, than I've had the last few days. Still, the racings been decent, so can't complain.

What do you make of Lucky Place in the Rekheel, Euro? You fancied him the last day, just wondering if you fancy him again.

Thunder Rock just ran to bad to be true last time. He can do a lot better than that. It would be a stab in the dark, but I've thought for a while he was quite good on a going day. If he's still double-digit prices after final declarations I might go in.

I'm also interested in the Christian Williams horse, Deep Cave in the handicap hurdle. He's a french recruit who ran well last time in fifth and now surely bound to improve again. Only several firms quoting the race, but their 25/1 looks way too big if he's declared. I'll wait until final declarations.
