The NRNB is vital with this one but, if you can get the 16/1 NRNB Shearer with William Hill for the Festival Hunters' Chase you're likely to be sitting on a good bet if it runs.


It takes an OR 140+ horse to win this most years and this horse won off that at Aintree in a small field over 3m1f a few years ago.


He's annihilated a fair yardstick today who was fit from two runs, he is with a top pro trainer, the jockey (one of his daughters) is much improved and he's an uncomplicated ride.


If Shearer rocks up on the day (money back if he doesn't) it's likely to be because he's hosed up again in his second qualifying run and from that yard he won't be 16s.
