I did say perhaps and there aren't too many people who go to work at that time. The AA route maps give a time of 2 hours and 2 minutes for the trip.

OK, then given that the motorway and unrestricted dual carriageway roads have a 70 mph limit and that the other roads on which you need to travel have 50 mph, 40 mph and 30 mph limits, it is absolutely impossible to travel 80 miles in an hour.

As I have posted already, it's virtually impossible anyway, and it's a journey that I've carried out many times. As this is roughly 50% a betting forum, I don't suppose thst you'd be prepared to accept a challenge of that nature? You'd find me offering generous odds...
