Apprentice 2010

because there are different people in it basically

With respect that is wrong. Tell me all the blokes aren't twats in suits and all the women aren't hard faced and real go getters. It's the same people year after year.

Well, that's EC1 and me on the same sofa, and Euro headbanging in the garage! But, Euro, be fair - you're into death metal or whatever it is. Some people think that's total garbage, so it's just different strokes, y'know?

No. I hate death metal. The extreme stuff I listen to forms only a small part of my collection.

everything is completely black and white to you Euro by the looks of it:)

all the blokes and all the women are ...

some are different..some are bigger twats and more watchable :)

The first series of The Apprentice was entertaining, but it was a one series only view for me - what's the point in watching the same thing over and over.

I can understand that to an extent but its still addictive. One of the very few programmes i watch and last episode was superb. I disagree with the sneers about Alan sugar. He is rapier quick and accurate in his assessments.

As it happens I used to drink a bit with someone who sold a modem company to him a few years back (they bought it back eventually and sold on for £millions). he is just as he appears. Miserable but sharp, but also known to be very loyal to staff and definately not a serial firer

Although rare, there have been a few decent candiates. Really like simon the soldier (and smoker) a couple of series back. Genuine and clever guy but perhaps too trusting. The dippy but very sharp investment analyst (who was too independent really) was a a genuinely nice lady too

...starting to scratch my head now

That gobby and thick jo from last week should have her head sawn off slowly with a rusty hacksaw

i hope you don't want to hang her from a lampost as well:D

What one enterprising apprentice needs to tell AS is that instead of giving them hell he really, really needs to sack whoever is employed to select these idiots in the first place.

It's quite obvious that half of them are crap - if they can't work that out during the interview process, then the first lot in the firing line should be the selectors.

I know it's meant to make great TV- hence why it was moved from BBC2 to BBC1 - writing was on the wall when that happened. Quite obvious it would all be dumbed down.

Can't watch it live - have to record it as I really don't need to be told several times during the programme what the task is, what the task was last week and what will happen in the boardroom... I sort of ed up with a cndensed, 40 - 45 minute quite watchable programme having whizzed through the fillers!

So far, I've totally swerved it, but I caught a few seconds of a deathless scene between Lordalan and two bickering ninnies. Apparently, Ashley (who's a woman, so maybe it's really spelled Ashleigh or Ashlee or A'shlea for all I know) promised him 'world domination'. I loved his response so much I'm using it for a signature line for now.

:lol: You're probably not wrong! Wait until it floats in China... ! Petronas Towers will look like a hovel compared to what they'll build on its profits.

Thank god the awful melissa has gone. Stewarts yoyo line was just wonderful...

A real laugh out loud moment....what a berk

Some faily quality people left (unlike some years) so will be less entertaining as it goes on

Liz has a nice rack

This has gone quiet....

Great to see Plaoma gone. A real bitch. Nasty piece of work who should have been thrown in an acid bath immediately on exit

Enjoyed the show. When she asked if she could saying someting I was shocked when Lord Sugar agreed. He may as well have handed her a rope. I think I read a book about consumers always looking tot he right etc. It might have been by Gerald Zaltman. It was hilarious what a big deal Plamoa made of it.

I haven't seen any of them this year, but I'm hoping that the first episode is still on i-player as I found out two days ago that the bloke who was fired in that first episode, Dan, is a guy I know as I went to school with his brother, who is incidentally one of the few people from school that I still see from time to time. He was always a flashy arrogant git though in fairness!

There is nothing sadistic about an acid bath. As a clean, efficient and enviromentally friendly way of disposal, its hard to beat
