He is unconscious . Sounds very serious .

I find it strange considering his history that I think this to be very bad news . His new party could be in effect still born if he dies and the world needs a resurgent Likud about as much as it needs the new Iranian President

Why?
The iranian president looks very nice person and a modern leader able to dialogate with the dialogant and modern European Union.

Perhaps because he says that Israel shoukld be wiped off the face of the earth?

Perhaps because he says that the Holocaust is a pure myth and never happened at all really?

Perhaps because he is attempting to build nuclear bombs?
 
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel's condition has worsened and his life is in danger, doctors say.
Mr Sharon has been in a coma at the Hadassah hospital since 4 January, when he suffered a severe stroke and underwent surgery.

Doctors decided to give him emergency surgery on Saturday after they discovered his digestive tract had suffered serious damage.

Interim Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has assumed Mr Sharon's powers.

You mean in the same way that we got tired of the endless, pointless baiting about Kathy, Dom? Or the endless, pointless snipings between you, PDJ, Ardross, and Derek? Or the endless, pointless snipings by many at Merlin? Or the... oh, someone else fill in the rest.
