Walked into Ulster Bank a few minutes ago to lodge €2k into an account I use predomiemtly for punting. My account balance was €0. The cashier asked would I like to go into an office for a 'customer review'. I declined as it I feel like a convict when the usual pompous bank manager goes through your statements and sees you're punting. They usually just try to flog you life cover. I can only presume if your balance stays above €500 for a month or two the message goes on your account.
