Can I have them all? :D

What a nice little dog Sally looks too, she must be exhausted after that long labour!

She was absolutely fine, Triptych. Bearing in mind, she is only just 2 years old, she has a very wise and caring head on her little shoulders. Hopefully, the puppies will grow up to have Sally's brain and Barney's looks! They will all live fairly locally, so I will be looking forward to seeing how they all turn out.

Isty, I'm fine at the moment.... not sure what I will be like when they all resemble little dogs, not little, blind gerbils! :D

I thought some of you may want to see photos of Barney's pups. First of all here's Mum and Dad.......

Sally is just reminding Barney about the maintenance payments before he can have a sniff! (Ben sniggering away in the background)

Are you really mine??

I believe so Dims, although I think if I changed my mind we could still have one... BUT I am still holding out brilliantly..... so far.... :nerd: :)

Dogs are amazing , the strange nature of dog breeding - a Jack Russell and a Westie produce little black pups

There are two black (with a tiny bit of Barney's colouring) and two proper tri colour, Ardross. Two of them appear to have long coats and two are short haired plus two of them have long snouts and two have short snouts....

go figure.....

DO, Sally is definitely the Mum, and evidently Barney was her first boyfriend... well, that's whats she's told Barney anyway. I have told Barney to get a DNA test if maintenance is ever discussed.

Cute! Well done Barney!

James - black is the most common dilute colour in dogs and will be dominant when breeds are crossed out.

Very commonly, if you breed a Weimaraner, for example, to another breed the majority of the resulting puppies will be black, as the grey coat colour in the Wei is a dilute of black.

The black pups look exactly like my beloved last dog as a puppy - she turned out to be the most georgeous creature, a smallish, lithe collie cross, jet black, with extravagently feathered tail and ears which stood up or lay flat depending on mood... Ahh!
