George Michael's singing does that to me too . I weep if I have to hear any of his ghastly mush .Careless Whisper is vomitworthy.Originally posted by Griffin@May 6 2006, 03:52 PM
The George Michael version of 'First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' reduces me to tears every time so I'd better take some tissues with me in December incase he sings it  I'm also a fan of 'On And On' by the Longpigs and 'Never Tear Us Apart' by INXS.

The old George Michael stuff is the best, the music he did with Wham.
No, I'd say it was the Faith/Listen Without Prejudice years that were the best. He's lost his way since then. My mum and I are going to see him at the NECOriginally posted by Irish Stamp@May 8 2006, 01:54 PM

Sorry Bar , Closing time for me that night One of my fav albums and of course you're rightOriginally posted by Bar the Bull@May 5 2006, 10:11 AM
Solerina,
That Tom Waits song you are quoting is not Closing Time. It is New Coat of Paint.
Closing Time is an album; there is an instrumental at the end of Closing Time of the same name, but there are no lyrics.
Or maybe he just couldn't think of anything else to rhyme with "altar" :brows:Originally posted by Shadow Leader@May 24 2006, 10:06 AM
Quite spooky lyrics in the song Simmo posted!
