Okay folks. Here's a nice way to ring in the New Year, and to prove to your fellow forumites how great you are at betting.

It is a "winner takes all" betting competition, which offers you the chance to pit your wits against the bookies over Jan 1st to Jan 2nd.

I will offer €100 to the winner, to go to a charity of your choosing.

There is a feast of sport, with decent racing, darts, American football, soccer and rugby. I have selected eight events for you to bet on. You can pick any bet, so long as it is viewable on oddschecker. You have a notional €1000 to play with over the two days.

New Year's Day

Rules
  • Only 1 bet per event
  • All odds must be available on oddschecker
  • All bets do not have to be stated at once, but each bet must be posted at least 5 minutes before the start of each event
