I suppose I will be told not to read the thread if I have no interest in it but I have to say I am amazed by the number of people on here who appear to tune in to the programme. :what:

Due to Jaynes persistant rule breaking, all the housemates are up for eviction bar her. I don't think that's very fair, a better punishment would've been Jayne automatically up for eviction as well as whoever else got nominated. Now she's been rewarded with an extra week in the house  She truely is vile :angy:

Jebus christ, the producers really piss me off when they mess about with it like this. They obviously want Jayne in a few weeks and realise she`s be out on her arse this week.

Prices to go:
Aislynne 3.0
Nikki 3.35
Susie 5.3
Spiral 7.6
Richard 8.2

I hope Aislynne goes. Nikki was second favourite in the outright market, now she`s in that position for eviction. I may lay her as i cant understand the price.

Who ever said BB was going to be fair?

And I was soooooo looking forward to seeing her go :(

Think Nikki may be the percentage bet.

You either love her or you hate her. And in this case, that's a bad call. The people who love Nikki may not at all hate Aisleyne, they could dislike some of the others as well and spread their votes unwisely.

Sadly, Nikki is now the favourite everywhere so people have cottoned on to this. The value is gone. But I wouldn't be rushing to lay it. To be honest, Endemol have made a mess of this. They're going to lose one of their stronger characters [be it N or A] over a stupid twist. I'm sure there will be some interesting highlights 'editing' in a vain bid to tip the balance in favour of someone else.

That`s what i`m banking on to be honest. Spiral reacted badly to Aisleyne rejecting him in favour of Nikki and Pete in a spin the bottle game. If he gets a couple of bad edits he could be a likely evictee.

If anything though, I think those voting for Spiral will do so as opposed to voting, say, Aisleyne. Whereas I think the anti-Nikki brigade are relatively consistent.

Big Brother is a fantastic betting medium. And I'm tempted to get involved seriously and back Nikki this time but I'm waiting to see what tonight and Tuesday's shows are like before getting involved with real conviction. By rights, under the terms they've laid down, she should go. Stupid as that may be.

Yeah, my lay was a bit premature to say the least judging by the way her price is going down. If she doesn`t get a good edit this evening i`ll have to bite the bullet and just take a small(ish) loss.

The betting has changed dramatically with Aisleyne the favourite. But every single online poll has Nikki the clear fave to go. It's all very confusing. I still stick by my original thoughts......Nicki is becoming backable to go

I didn't see tonights highlights. Musta been a hatchet job.

To evict NIKKI

Text NIKKI to 84444

(Texts cost 50p, plus std msg rate)

Call 09011 32 33 10

(Calls cost 50p, mobile and other network rates may vary)

10p from every vote will go to charity

I thank you :D

A good piece in The Sportsman today about how BB execs needed to keep Nikki in the house until this point to keep things happening and had sympathetically edited the show as such.

It then went on to explain the relative value of Nikki to the other housemates in terms of potential revenue once out of the house and how BB execs realised that with just 4 weeks to go and the competition from Love Island and OFOH that "launching" Nikki onto the tabloid press at this stage would create more publicity for the show than keeping her in the house.

The argument was that she would be edited to this effect tonight to ensure her eviction and that 1.9 was a good price (no I didn't back it). Now I have never watched a minute of this show but would be interested in people's thoughts on the above and how tonight's show portrayed Nikki?

I don't think the've selectively edited this week to make her look bad, she's always been hugely annoying but could be quite funny to watch at times. If she'd been head to head with any of the others bar Pete, she probably would've stayed. Everyone has their favourite housemate, but with so many to chose from this week the votes were getting diluted. She could've got less than 10% of the public vote yet still gone.

Good point Griffin - there is a dedicated core of Nikki haters who at kast had the opposition split .

Now evil Jayne must be next for the chop

A great result personally punting wise. Next week should be straightforward bye bye to Jayne so BB will have to put a twist in if they're going to give punters any kind of interest.

I've read that there'll be more than one eviction next week. The series ends in less than a months time and they've got to get it down to four or five for the last week.

Surely betting on Jayne to go next is just free easy money?

Yeah but she's long odds on already - only danger is that there's a twist. Spiral could be the outside bet.

Its the final week of Big Brother this week in Australia. Five people officially left, 4 blokes and 1 girl.

The double eviction last night was a big shock, with Claire and Krystal exiting.

I am convinced the lone female in the house, Camilla has now got this won and in the bag for 2006. I am hoping for it to be between either her or Jamie, though I am thinking the gay community will be voting to save their dearly beloved David.

It looks as if there'll be a double eviction tonight (that'll be Mikey and Susie then) plus one of the old housemates will go back in the house. I liked it when John Tickle went back in but he wasn't eligible to win. From what I've read whoever goes back in can still win which seems a bit unfair. Judging by the betting on Betfair, Nikki will go back in tonight as her price to win has fallen dramatically. She'll still not beat Pete though.
