Boston Bombings

.........thinking that Craig Ferguson is still funny.

The Sheena Easton of alternative comics.

I saw Ferguson do an HBO stand-up special when I was out there a couple of summers back. It was a pitiable effort; strewn with profanities where there should have been jokes, in a thread-bare effort to display his edgy cool*.

This "edgy cool" is entirely a figment of CF's imagination.

Apologies for going off-topic.

Comparing him to Sheena Easton is a bit harsh. She was never good.

I recall enjoying his early stuff - particularly remember being amused by a Family Fortunes skit (Name something red - my red cardigan).

Interestingly enough, I once saw his sister live at Glasgow Green (had gone to see Phil Kay). Her act seemed to consist of picking people out of the audience and abusing them. She gave a good long thought to having a pop at me and then, luckily for her, thought better of it.

I also made Bill Bailey **** himself just by looking at him. I wasn't even trying to look menacing. Must be my face.
