Boylesports losing the plot!

Dear The Lads,

This firm is a joke shop. Just punt in their shops because they don't even lay the clueless online.

I had my account with Ladbrokes "suspended" last month - apparently it's a trading decision to suspend (already heavily restricted ie. Zero over the internet and to win £100 over the phone by my reckoning - unless it's a bit lively in which case SP only) the account whilst not refunding my funds unless I request them and that there's a chance they could un-suspend the account at a future date. I asked the CS operative what percentage of accounts suspended by their traders were then un-suspended but she didn't know. I knew that JT and co had screwed them over but didn't think it had got that bad.

Mine was locked up last week. I've explained to you how easy it is to get a new one.

Boylesports have now asked me to give them feedback on my recent dealings with their customer services.

One wonders if anyone is really in charge of this organisation - MR2

Tried to have 10ew on a 50/1 poke antepost with Betfred tonight, knocked back to 2.50ew. I had a chat with their advisor...

[Ric G] I regret to inform you, your account is restricted by the Trading Team. This is a business decision based upoon your stakes, chosen selections etc. I am afraid they don't elaborate on a reason for the restrictions.
[Ric G] It will re offer you what it is willing to accept.

Another one gone...

No offense mate but it beats the hell out of me why anyone, not just you, would back a 50/1 shot with a bookie for such a small amount when they'd get 100 or better matched on the machine without a problem and the place odd would also be higher. Add to that the advantage of making a profit without risk should the odds for some reason drop like a stone and it just seems plain daft to me that anyone even tries to get on with the tossers.

It seems to me way people don't use the small bookie as often as they should. Most of them have facilities with the big guys and can get on more than most punters can because of the continuous volume of business....They can still take your bet keep some and lay the rest off if they wish.

Maybe you should think of having a bet with them like puting in an insurance claim and ask for 5 times what you want......like had you asked for 100 ew would they have laid you the tenner or is that it 2.50 take it or leave it? 2 pounds fookin 50 pence.....stuff that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Multi million pound business cant take 10 quid? unreal!!!!!!!!!!!

They don't deserve your business no matter how small

The horse was 36 on the machine

Geez that is a shock. I know Celestial Halo was 46 and you could get 50/1 with a couple of bookies but that is very very rare. Most 50/1 shots are like 600/1 on the machine.

Which horse are you talking about?

Lost both my Victor Chandler and Boyle Sports accounts in this way. Although pretty sure I would have turned it around the VC wasn't even in credit.

Shame they don't have to give proper reasons for these decisions.

Brother just tried to have £2.50 EW on a horse with sportingbet, they limited him to 10p EW pmsl
To add insult to injury, he couldn't even do that as the minimum stake is 50p :)

Gotcha......with only 1250 quid matched it doesn't look much until you see the odds it's been matched at. He's been backed to take nearly 200k out and apparently has been working well and is an intended runner.

They probably sh!tting their pants considering who trains it but you'd be taking only 156 quid out if he won which makes it all the more unreal from a company who are Ireland's biggest.

What I can tell you that I use 3 different people involved in getting money on from time to time and 2 of them I know for sure don't deal with them where horses are concerned. Apparently they have couldn't care less attitude when it comes to horse racing and concentrate mainly on the footy betting. BGbet have handled fairly decent bets apparently and they certainly wouldn't knock back 2.50 ew unless you were a nuisance better who's account is way too much works for too little projected profit

Hard to believe their attitude when Bsport sponsor the International which is 2nd in value only to the Champion Hurdle. They did sponsor the old Massey Ferguson Gold Cup a few years back but the dropped that for some reason.........but then sponsorship is one thing taking bets is another.

I'm an expert on this topic.

How do they close a telephone account? Don't think they can can they?

Some of you boys are so green I wonder why any account is closed.

Question to the floor. What causes an account to be closed and outside the box thinking, how do you keep one open. It's the most untapped topic n gambling.

There are sever reason why accounts are closed. They will close your account even if you are losing if the work involved outweighs the likely profits. They will close your account if you are using a system like Dutching that is lessening the odds of you losing. They will close your account if you are winning too much.

If you want to ensure your account remains open you have two choices.....Change your name to Slim or lose fortunes to them:lol:

How did I do Slim? Points out of 10?
