Brecon/Gower Peninsula

Spending a few weeks, maybe longer near Brecon helping my brother build his new house, hopefully my two teenage sons will do most of the heavy work. However, if anyone knows the area (Brecon - Gower), I will be a complete stranger in that part of the country, advice on the following would be much appreciated:

1) My two sons are very accomplished cricketers and would like to keep up their net practice - are there any clubs in this area to be recommended.

2) I love snorkel diving from quiet 'reefy' beaches - any recommendations (within 60 miles of Brecon)

Guessed that there weren't many cricket clubs nearby, the closest looks to be Abergavenny - we might try our luck there and the beaches around the Gower peninsula.

If anyone is interested in my brother's little project, and one in which I will be involved, he is recording progress on davesbarn.com.

I haven't yet appeared on the photo list but probably will next week.

Gower is really a nice area, beaches have won all accolades, but watch out for adders they are native to this area and do bite....................don't make a miss snake..............
