? Don't you have to have the BT line replaced with Bulldog.Originally posted by PDJ@Jul 12 2005, 05:22 PM
No they don't have to change anything. It is just a different modem I believe.
Line rental certainly passes to bulldog but, their web site doesn't make it clear whether they actually replace any part of the line which was why I asked the question of PDJ. As I said, if they don't replace anything then why are they the only ones offering 8mb if the existing lines accomodate this.Originally posted by Latefortheraces@Jul 12 2005, 09:18 PM

PDJ, You may find that £41.50 includes line rental which you'll no longer need to pay BT.Originally posted by PDJ@Jul 13 2005, 09:04 AM
Hold your bets. I am on hold with them at the moment having just received an email stating that my monthly price wil be £29.50 per month for months 2-6 and then £41.50!!! after that. Looks like I will be staying with Telewest. I asked the bloke every conceivable question and was assured it was £17.50 per month. B@stards.
Are you sure about the free calls P?Originally posted by PDJ@Jul 13 2005, 09:22 AM

It seams their customer service is dire and a lot of their customers had bad problems for several weeks last year.
