Bumper Horses 2016/17

Samcro today, sired by Germany, same as Faugheen but rated 2lb higher on his PTP win on RP ratings. He gave a 10 lengths beating of a c/d bumper winner so immediately added to my radar.

One or two more runs then being put away - Jamie Codd is quoted as saying he is an aeroplane

Beat Elegant Escape in his point who's won his first two over hurdles. Would have won by further too but made a hash of the last.

Grand dam a half sister to Sound Man, Master of The Hall one of her foals.
Nice family if a little thin but so was Faugheen from such a family.
Germany loved to run and his offspring are similarly disposed so future could be bright.

One of my Dark Horses the well bred Whin Park (Ben Pauling) entered at Southwell next Tuesday.
Not sure if you're looking in DG, but these are Pauling's remarks on ATR:

"He was supposed to run at Ascot last Saturday but unfortunately had a bit of a snotty nose on Friday morning. He is green and doesn't really know what is going on but he is a horse with plenty of ability and I would like to think would go well in bumpers this season."

I saw that in my tracker yesterday Perp. He was also entered into a 2m3f hurdle at Musselburgh today but obviously that was abandoned.

I half expected him to be left to bumpers this year but it's now clear George is sending him over hurdles.

Back to the horses, Ravenhill Road was v impressive in the last at Market Rasen on Saturday. The 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] fav disappointed in the race, so not getting carried away, but he’s one for the tracker
Runs in the last at Donc tomorrow with a penalty. Will be disappointed if he can’t win and the danger's the Pauling horse Marten that's had a few good write ups

No sign of Ballyward yet for team Mullins! Paddy reckons he's the best of their lot this year. A bold statement if you saw Getabird last Sunday.

Lovely debut from McManus horse there in Southwell. With a name like champ he had to be useful. That & the fact Geraghty was there for the one ride.
