I bought an FTP client software online a few years back - Crystal FTP Pro from a website called CASDK. It was something like $20 to $30 and offered free lifetime support, but not lifetime upgrades.
Anyway, after the recent hard drive crash I lost the program which I hadn't backed up to hard disk. So, I revisited the website, downloaded the trial version again and emailed them for the activation key. No reply. After waiting a while, I emailed them again, and then again. Then I emailed all four email addresses they supply on their website. Still no reply. The website seems to be kept up to date and they are still offering software for sale.
What can I do? I need this FTP software but I don't want to fork out another $30 when I've already purchased it. I guess this is the risk when the only means of contacting the supplier is email. What I need is an alternative way of finding an activation key
