I recently came across Zodiac Gallop, a service that analyzes a horse’s birth chart using astrology to understand temperament, energy, and potential. I’m curious if anyone here has used it or seen it in action.

Does it provide useful insights for training or picking horses with real racing potential, or is it more of a novelty? How do you think it compares to traditional methods like pedigree analysis, fitness tests, and race records?

Would love to hear experiences and opinions from trainers, owners, or racing enthusiasts who have explored astrology-based approaches like this.

Since race horses are given the same birthday their breeding to take maximum advantage of that will mean they will mostly be born under the same couple of Zodiac signs.. For what good that does them.

This might be the chap. William Walker, 1st Baron Wavertree (1856 - 1933). Found through a bit of quick research rather than any previous knowledge. The piece below is from The Great War (1914-1918) Forum. His father established The Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool which I should have visited when I was living there over forty years ago.

Here in Kildare, he founded the a famous Stud farm at Tully which became the Irish National Stud and built the Japanese Gardens in 1906-10 having imported a gardener, plants and a tea house from Japan.

He had horoscopes cast on many of the foals at his stud which would then influence his decision on what to do with the foals. He also had skylights in the horseboxes so the horses could see the stars....

More useless information for anyone who is interested...
