Irrespective of how good she looked in teh Queen Mary I'd want to be with the colt as I was even more impressed with the Coventry performance but my opinion is that Aidan will find a reason to swerve the race.
The same comments apply to Lady Aurelia but I'd favour her over Caravaggio if they were to meet next week. That Ascot time was off the scale and she certainly didn't look like she'd fall in a heap if she had to go another furlong.
I imagine the Guineas will be the main aim with Caravaggio so the Middle Park, rather than the Morny, will be the immediate target. I can't see them setting the horse too many big questions this season. Plenty of big sprints next season if he doesn't stay the mile at Newmarket.
Scat Daddys so far are somewhat similar to War Fronts; they seem more mature and forward at 2 so less improvement to come with age imo.
As a son of Johannesburg this may not be so surprising.
Time will tell in any event but I would not be rushing ante post ( not with my ante post record anyways !)
Thanks, edgt. I took 10/1 for the Guineas less than an hour after the Coventry so will maybe lay off, hopefully at shorter than it is now, after it's won maybe another race or two.
