Not holding up traffic this time, Shads. :P

We have very recently moved into a semi-detached house and our attached neighbours have a caravan parked at the front of their house, on hard standing. It is on their property and I have the feeling that they are within their rights.

Butttttttt!!!, if they wanted to build an extension to their property of the same size as the van and in the same position, they would surely have to have planning permission. And if so, I would have the right to object and I feel I would have a pretty strong case.

Does anyone have any experience of this sort of situation?

I think you're right about the planning aspects, so alternatives have to be found... is it parked on a slope, by any chance?

Hoo hoo!!! that really made me hoot

As i said to SL only recently, this summer every time I've passed a caravan on the road I've started larfin

We took our motorhome up to Norfolk last weekend. We were invited to Christine Dunnett's 50th Birthday party which was held in a marquee on her gallops! It was a great party!

Anyway, Christine has her own campsite about 10 mins walk from the gallops so we set up camp about 4pm in the afternoon. It was surreal. Sitting in the middle of a field not far from a dung heap surrounded by gorgeous Norfolk countryside drinking chilled wine and eating doughnuts. Honestly Dom, you would have loved it. :P Especially trying to find our way home in the pitch black across the ploughed fields after a few too many glasses of Christine's special "punch" :D
