According to TRF's Matron's report from a spoiler site

"John McCririck is to take part in a celebrity edition of Wife Swap.

The racing pundit, who caused outrage with his misogynistic rants on Celebrity Big Brother in 2005, will swap wife "the Booby" for battleaxe politician Edwina Currie.

"Viewers should expect to see fireworks," a source told DS. "Especially when Edwina tries to force John into the kitchen - for the first time in his life."

The episode is due to air next month."

It turns very nasty apparently. McCririck was geting his retaliation in first on the Morning Line a couple of weeks ago, can't remember what he called her now?

I was hoping it might be McCririck and Krizon - now that would be worth watching !!!

Other proposed combinations:

John Prescott and Songsheet
Margaret Thatcher and BrianH
an capall and Mary Robinson
Honest Tom and Dana
Shadow Leader and Mick Quinn
Merlin and Germaine Greer

Ardross and Jordan...

Edwina's been to Brighton a couple of times this season, as has Flubber, where they've met up, presumably to spar playfully in front of the cameras which accompanied la belle dame. She's very petite and quite attractive in the flesh.

How often must you people be told, that money was just resting in that account.

Thatch is a mad mongoose whose clearly suffering, I'd have my money on Brian these days. Now give him Condi and we might have a match on our hands. Shadz and Quinn is the one I'd pay to watch though. There must be others??

Dear Max Clifford,

Thank you for your advice, the cheque is in the post. Please tell the editor of the News Of The World that of the choice of headlines for the serialisation the one I prefer is "I Was Mad Hilda's Toy Boy".

Yours sincerely,

I'd pay more money so see her with Douglas Batchelor. (or his equivalent if he no longer holds his position). :D

They came into our pavilion at Windsor racecourse one Monday night - we were there on a company night out - clearly had wandered into the wrong hospitality bit. Mac left Edwina with us while he sloped off to pretend to do some work. We bought Edwina a diet coke. Someone asked her if she was eating eggs now.....she left :D

Two Irish couples decided to swap thier partners for for an evening.

Afterwards, they meet up and Paddy says to Murphy; "Did you enjoy that?".

Murphy says; "To be sure, it was grand.......

...I wonder how the women got on".

Showing tonight on C4.

There should be a very strong warning about this explicitly horrific show tonight. Forget Cracker, Rebus, Wire in the Blood, Spooks or Celebrity Ballroom Dancing. This is Wife Swap, featuring Mrs Edwina Currie twinned with Mr John McCririck.

There's a thankfully tiny photo of the happy couple in this week's Radio Times. I thought it was a clip from one of the 'Carry On' films as Currie looks as if she's going to give the Blobster a bit of spanky-panky, while his drooping man-boobs (yes, ladeeze, he is bare-breas - sorry, bare-chested) flop onto his bed in what looks to be a very cluttered and tiny room. Nice...

Woudja looka that! I just posted above as I couldn't find the original... maybe you can combine them, Mr Editor?

I'm not practiced at putting "wife swap" into search engines, but I risked it this time to find the old topic....... :)
