Not seen anyone call out his ride on Jimmy Du Seuil yet. Disgusting ride, then decks it at the last under absolutely no pressure

In preperation for a Coral Cup or whatever its gonna be called now.

Actually thinking about it have they changed the rules with regards how many runs they have to have before they run in a handicap at Cheltenham ?

Don't sweat it, none of us can keep up with the new Willie Mullins rules every year.

Selma De Vary will be having a run tomorrow for the Juvenile handicap hurdle.

Every chance Con Hill goes off fav for the Champion if he looks good at Southwell.
 
Wincanton’s Kingwell will tell us very little tomorrow, but significantly, Golden Ace has been withdrawn due to the heavy ground. Jeremy Scott keeping his powder dry, but is contemplating a racecourse gallop before 10th March.

As you say, doesn't tell us much BUT Alexei will enjoy the hopefully better ground at Cheltenham and we know the course suits. He looked a little lairy going to the last and I'd be tempted to put some sort of headgear on (cheekpieces prob) to get him to concentrate next time.

Is he a contender - probably not. But in a very open year, if you've got a fit and healthy horse then why not? Garth and Anne Brooks (Brocade Racing) have no children and racing is their passion so even having a runner in the race is a dream plus they have been pretty lucky owners in the past (Native River for a start)

And I'm quietly pleased as he's my TTF Dark Horse :cheerleader:

I think she wins I think it'll be between her and Lossie and I think she'll get the best of it. On their best days they are clear of this lot. At first I was a bit dismissive about her on the course but watching her races here she seems to of handled the course perfectly fine. The mares novices wasn't a truly run enough race for her and Elliot seems to think she had a genuine excuse in the Champion last year. I like the fact she's had a lighter preparation for it this time around. I'm half convinced its all girls top 3.

I'd be in her camp too, thunk the lighter campaign this season is the key.
