Charlie - I have edited your post for being personally offensive . Your misuse of the apostrophe is a fact whether or not you like me referring to it or not .

If you don't like what happens on this forum I suggest you go elsewhere and tug your forelock at Mr Davies who is the only other person apart from yourself who seeks to abuse my professionalism .

If you thought that your transparent attempt to stir up trouble was going to work then dream on .

ardross- didnt mean to be 'personally offensive'' i'll stick to facts - FACT - laying bets with out apermit is agin the law, FACT - betting with a 16o is against the law, FACT - threatening behaviour to get paid up is against the law, FACT - a solicitor who is professional should uphold the law.

PS: I'm professor of english at oxford uni so you were personlaly offensive about my professionalism. but i forgive you. lol

Professor of English at Oxford University - oh, my aching sides!  If it were true, then (to quote Ian Smith) it would be comic, were it not so tragic!

CharlieD, you are wrong about two things. Firstly, private bets do not require any form of licence. Secondly, there is no law against such a bet being placed with someone aged 16.

If you weren't so against private bets I'd offer to wager you that you were wrong.
