It has just been announced that Charles and Camilla are to marry on April 8th!

Did any one else hear Tony Blair's press conference??

No but who cares anyway, they have been living together for so long now does it make any difference.

Regards

They're welcome to each other.

I'm not looking forward to the media circus that's going to follow this 'news' and hope to find ways of avoiding it all.

I will boycott any newspaper that puts anything to do with this on their front pages.

At least I'll be in Spain at the time of the wedding but I just hope it doesn't f*cking spoil the coverage of Aintree.

Well it will be ladies day at Aintree, there is a rumble that it may be a bank holiday as well!

It certainly won't make any difference to my life, an extra Bank Holiday would be good though. B)

Time for me to get a right slapping, but I think what Ellen Macarthur achieved this week has far more importance and impact on the general public. I am neither for or against the Royal Family and in this modern age, I don't see a problem with this, but I am sure there are many who will.
The media are going to love all this and by the time of the wedding I am sure I will be totally sick of it all. :(

Well I'm already sick of all this Ellen McArthur guff. Is there a vomiting emoticon? Two vomitworthy things happening in one week - it's too much.

You could always take a leaf out of my book and refuse to watch the news or read newspapers.

He ain't bloody Welsh...............and Maurice I think you will be boycotting all newspapers with the possible exception of The Daily Worker (sorry Morning Star!!) and the Racing Post.

Colin

It was a pretty empty empty threat anyway :D

I don't buy newspapers at all midweek as I don't have time to read them, and I buy the RP on a Saturday. I certainly don't buy British papers when I'm in Spain, which is where I'll be when this pair of social inadequates are pledging their troth.

He's the Prince of Wales - so he's bloody Welsh, Colin!!

And his son's an SS too. It was in the papers.
