Lossiemouth 8/1 Mares Hurdle (Hills only. 5/1 biggest elsewhere. Doubt it lasts long)
Hermes Allen 20/1 Brown Advisory Chase

I'm tempted by the 5/1 Impaire Et Passe for the Arkle but Constitution Hill's shadow is cast long over about 3 or 4 of these markets, including this one.

Just had the two so far:

Gerri Colombe Gold Cup at 12s and 16s. New course and extra stamina made for him. That said this was before GDC was so impressive earlier today.
Sandor Clegane 20s Brown Advisory. I've had this horse in mind for the BA since the DRF where he was very big at his hurdles. He ran a stormer today, just what I wanted to see. He was in rear and was big at a lot of his hurdles once again and I loved the way he stayed on.

I've got Jonbon in mind for the Ryanair but 10s isn't enough.

Gerri will probably go bigger in running. A chance he could get too far behind, no?

El Fab Champ Chase.

Last year was some obvious ones. My 25/1 Allegorie ticket paid nothing, neither did my 25/1 Might Potter ticket. A year punting Ante Post to make a loss, a years studying for one meeting to make a loss. Tough tough tough

Everything depends on CH doesnt it.if you think hes going chasing then impaire et passe 6/1 or Marine nationale 8/1 for the champion hurdle look good.
Sending impaire et passe for the ballymore was because they were confident that Facile Vega was going to win the supreme so MN must be pretty useful.
If Ch stays hurdling then the other two might go chasing.
Someone on here said they would go straight to the champion chase with CH so is 8/1 worth risking.
All my a/p this year had at least 1 not make the gig so I dont think I will bother.

I’ve taken a small (free bet) interest at 8/1 Constitution Hill for the QMCC

If he goes chasing I don’t think they’ll bother with the Arkle

managed to get a little on Constitution Hill Champion Chase at 20s on the exchange

if they do go chasing i really hope they don't **** about targeting the Arkle

I didn't get a single return from any of my ante-post runners.

I reckon next season I'll give ante-post betting for the festival a complete miss.

The most galling was Salvador Ziggy at 66/1 for the AB. The three of the first four in the Albert Bartlett who had an OR were 136, 140 and 137. Ziggy was already on 147 and my provisional rating for his Pertemps run is around 155.

I imagine next season Ziggy will be trained to get into the Pertemps again off a similar mark.

If he goes chasing he could end up having a shout in whatever race he goes for.

I reckon a smart bet would be for example only.

600 to win 500 on Constitution Hill for the Champion Hurdle

+ 500 win Constitution Hill for the QMCC at 10/1

A possible p/l of zero or 5000 win.

If Constitution Hill does go chasing then as much as I like Imapaire Et Passe I would be wishing I had take 8/1ew about State Man for the Champion Hurdle.
I wouldn't underestimate how good he is.Take out Constitution Hill and he'd be getting hailed an up and coming superstar.

Jonbon hasn't proven to be half as good as Douvan was I wouldn't be backing him for anything at any distance at the Festival but Marine Nationale looks alikely winner
of either the Arkle or the Turners but again much depends what Constitution Hill does and once we know prices will be all change.

Honeysuckle will be going for a walk in the park so the mares could bea gift for Lossiemouth 5/1 damned if I can seen anything that could give her a race. Banker so far

ar.

I took 10s about Jonbon for the Ryanair after much dithering. One thing that will happen if he makes it, he won't be compromising his chances chasing Dysart Dynamo. The Ryanair is ripe for plundering, there is no depth in the ante-post market and Allaho will be too old.

Jonbon is a good jumper in general but the Arkle showed he's vulnerable over two miles in top company and he should really have gone the Turners route.

Wouldn't disagree with that at all but then Hindsight is a wonderful thing but foresight is better. I think we've seen if left to his own devices at his own pace he is amuch better horse and the extra distance should suit.

I imagine much depends on what Nicky ends up doing where State Man goes.

If it wasn't for Constitution Hill I would be all over State Man to beat Marine National because I didn't think the Supreme was a good renewal this year.

State Man's easy defeat of Honeysuckle already turned out to be top class form.

His Champion Hurdle 2nd when he left Zanahiyr and Vauban, who are very good horses, miles behind looks excellent form also.
