Cheltenham 2026

People are forgetting this isn’t a 2 horse race and sleeping on Kargese. Shes a right chance.

I also said the same about Dysart Dynamo against Jonbon and El Fab. So my opinion’s not worth a sausage.
No surprise if she chases him home. Lulamba will be a price in running if you like him.

Was all over El Fab. Spit.

Why? Because of the one run?
He's had a glorified schooling session in November against a bunch of non triers. He then had two set-backs missing Leopardstown Xmas and the DRF. The last competitive race he was in he absolutely bombed out at 30/100f. And yet he is somehow 13/8 fav against Lulamba who has proven his credentials.

Look, if he wins then fair enough but its a disgusting price. When the betfair market becomes more liquid I'll be laying him for a place

Clearly he hasn't had the smoothest prep!

I wouldn't be holding Punchestown against him as plenty bomb out after Cheltenham.

He has hacked up in a Supreme.
Lulamba ultimately wants further. Yes you have to stay, but he will be up against some speed tomorrow.

I'm happy enough to take him on and if Lulamba goes by up the hill then I'll take it on the chin.
Obviously they have to be jumped too!

If you have a line through Lovely Hurling it makes it a close race, and possibly even closer for Kargese given the weight allowance she will receive tomorrow.

I actually think any rain/water the course gets between now and 2pm will not suit Lulamba all that well.

Interesting race ahead.

Another price I can't get my head around - Lossiemouth 2/1fav for the CH? Really?? The New Lion has been touching 7-2 throughout the day. Automatic bet at that price in my opinion

Back here after 15 years for those who remember my occasional bletherings.

Is it me or are all tomorrow's three championship races looking just a notch weak in terms of quality? With the ground nearer Good than Good to Soft (it seems), I like OLD PARK STAR in the Supreme, KARGESE in the Arkle and both GOLDEN ACE and PONIROS each way in the Champion Hurdle.

See, I'm as bad a tipster as I ever was :)

In the Turners on Wednesday, I think Hurricane Pat is way overpriced at 75/1 ( ladbrookes boost ). Connections were adamant he wasn't right when Nickys horse slammed him at Haydock.. He has point form over 3m + the step up in trip will suit.
