Euro and me in joint 8/9th place - not bad! The GONE TO LUNCH of the Foxhunters.

Well done to the LONG RUN, DENMAN and KAUTO STAR of the comp - some outstanding results which I hope translated into real money for you, too. Thanks very much to the prize-givers and Chef for cooking up the results for us.

Great fun. Roll on the next, please!

Well done to you too, 122 points is nothing to be ashamed off.....:ninja:

Well done to all the winners and many thanks for organising/scoring the comp, it was great fun and apart from Friday I didn't do as badly as I thought I would.

Thanks to all who organised the comp, and well done to all who took part.

The €125 to go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association please - www.mndassociation.org/

I lost my Dad to Motor Neurone Disease in 2008. Throughout the (mercifully short) time he was ill, he and my Mum were supported extremely well by the MNDA,who provided practical advice for living with the condition, and also loaned us a stairlift and a 'lightwriter', which enabled Dad to communicate once he was no longer able to speak.

As well as helping those diagnosed with MND, the MNDA also funds research into the condition - hopefully one day a cure can be found.

Great cause and well done again Benny, donation processed today.

Oh, wowee - I wonned a pwize! Thanks, Chef, and thanks, Bar. Please would you donate to http://www.mssociety.org.co.uk. Anyone who attends Plumpton, Fontwell Park or Goodwood might've seen the lovely Kim Underwood on the Owners & Trainers desk. Kim has had MS for 10 years now, and throws everything she can at the bastid disease so that she can carry on working for a sport she absolutely loves. She's even tried a treatment recommended to her by AP! Like BennyB's Dad, this is another condition which cruelly whittles away at life over a period of time. Anything we can do to help beat them is much appreciated.

Thank you so much.

I will look after that, Krizon.

On the Bridle is donating €100 to the Motor Neuron crowd.

So far, I am donating €25 for Motor Neuron, and €25 for MS. Once Placebacker and Gagsie instruct me, I will see to the remaining €50 in prizes. That is if they get to me before I fritter it all away on over-under runs on a cricket over.

Wonderful, Bar. :) I know Kim will appreciate the donation to 'her' Society - I've emailed her to say you're donating. She is the most cheerful and friendly of colleagues, never a nasty word about anyone, always enthusiastic about the horses and very knowledgeable about the whole scene. She now has to use a mobility scooter and rely on other colleagues to transport her to and from the courses, and the last week-long treatment doesn't seem to have helped at all. The disease started when she was 39.

Such a cruel disease - a good friend of mine has it, he'd only be in his fifties. He still gets racing as often as he can though and loves spending as much time as he can at the yard where he keeps a racehorse in training. He's always very matter of fact about it and positive, often says he could be far worse off.

I deal with Kim quite often as well and as you say she's a very nice woman and always cheerful.
