Hurry up and move!!
Just wanted to say have a great time !! May the bet fairies have all your bets covered, and may nobody get in a punch up/fall over drunk/get arrested and have a safe, fun, amazing week. :D

Likewise and don't forget that Cheltenham is one of the coldest places to be when its cold - so dress for the Arctic and you'll be fine!

Bought a new and very waterproof coat to guarantee that it wouldn't rain but didn't seem to work for the cold.

Safe, profitable and lucky festival for everyone going and as my mother has told me earlier, don't drink too much on an empty stomach.....and she didn't know about the toilets there!Hope to bump into some of you Wednesday, look for a welsh galoot doing cartwheels after bondage goes in the coral cup.Be lucky

Thank you, but rest assured I'll not be getting covered by any fairy.

Police message

Bad weather along the A40 from Northleach to Cheltenham. Please take extra care on this route

Good luck one and all. I'm going tomorrow, getting the steam train special from Toddington to avoid the traffic. That's assuming I fit through the train door with all the layers I'll be wearing.

Hope above all else that all horses and jockeys come back safe and sound.

I dressed for the Arctic[looked like the Michelin Man], and I was still perished. Just thawing out now.

Je Suis lean, mean, lean again, with 5layers on today I was warm. Yesterday (mon) with 4layers nearly died. Actually thought I'd missed hot hell and gone to purgatory and I'm a atheist. With 5layers I was still lean but happy today.

The S.O. told me today [he didn't want to mention it yesterday] that his feet were so numb he feared not being able to drive home. Pleased to hear that it was one of the coldest March days ever because I thought I was going a bit soft.

Best wishes to all the forumites who keep turning up in the Mandarin bar for a drink . Great to know you all and good banter
