I wonder if he will get back to his strengths after the injury break.
I think Cheltenham is not the right course for him, neither was the ground to his favor.

Thanks UG, I've been wondering if I should save up for a 500mm but it looks like I am ok with what I have (for now!)

I kept my Nikkor 55-200mm from My old D40 & purchased a Sigma 70-300mm which to be honest I found a bit heavy especialy if its hanging around my neck all day shrug:: I've got a small lense 18-55mm for close ups etc

What length lenses would you use if you were down on the course & stood around 40/50ft on from a jump?

Depends if I want a wide shot or close up shot or what I think might be about to happen or not happen etc !
