Haven't really got my head back into things since I got back had a quick glance through and liked Mysteree and Final Nudge. Thought on the road was an interesting one as he was 33's earlier in the day quite rapidly shortened into 20's he makes less appeal.

Should say my record is probably worse than Grassy Dom Samuri was the last time I hit the bullseye here.

Still Dom remains one of my favourite horses of all time loved that little fellow.

Buckhorn Timothy’s two wins this season from two runs have been over hurdles but I wonder if that is to preserve a good mark. It looks to me like those hurdles runs suggest he’s improving and if he translate that improvement back over fences he’s a lovely price. I’ve taken the price each-way.

Just watching the race back, Vintage Clouds caught my eye. Got hampered by Wild West Wind's fall second time down the back and then made a bad mistake at the next before staying on fairly resolutely up the straight. He doesn't appear as one that can afford to get shuffled back so those two fences probably cost him his chance. He appealed to me as one who could come back next year and make amends.

Only thing that puts me off looking at his profile (not a horse I was overly familiar before I must admit) is that he seems to make a habit of jumping errors. Anyone have a view on the horse?

when was the last time 13 year olds were winner and runner up in any race anyone ?
Delighted for Raz De Maree connections; he has been some servant for them, unlucky to meet one as good as Native River last year.
 
Considering we had the Welsh National yesterday it a surprisingly good race today for the Susses National

Leighton Aspell will be glad his dry spell ended and could go well on Shanroe Santos

Henri Parry Morgan has been away from the winning enclosure for a long time and I don't see that changing today.

Vinnie Lewis looks way too high in the weights

One I like at an ew price is Big Meadow consist and and will gallop forever
