Glad to see there are five take-outs in the Lily Agnes (drawn 9,10,12,13,14).

18 2-y-os racing around here seemed a recipe for disaster. 13 is probably still too many.

all the Dr Koukash owned horses are overly short, just because the owner likes the course. stupid.
I think Cherry Street is well handicapped off 84, having ran well at Goodwood should put him in good stead of handling Chester, and that was on G-S going. 7-1 e/w for me.

Joseph O'Brien

Should have let Spencer go on in the straight, went for home too soon.

First rides at the course so it's hard for him to learn how to race here so soon.

The Oaks with a bit of luck!

Could seriously injure a horse on the downs if he doesn't learn how to race ride.

Lingfield will be a big test for him if they have any runners coming up there the weekend.

So his heart warming interview about Overturn was just words. Yeah, I love the horse but if I can find one to do him I will. He can suck my plums.

At the best of times it's a balls of a meeting on a balls of a track but the deep ground adds an extra dimension.Kicking myself for getting involved.

Tominator certainly had a balls of a start in the Cup, Luke. Chester is fun but without stalls it's a cod.

P.S. Well done to Eddie Ahern for making the most of the situation and getting Overturn off to a flyer.

It kind of illustrates why the jumps are so much better. A public horse in Overturn beaten by a vastly inferior stable companion. The flat is less of a sport than the Jumps.

That's fair enough. The angle in the race was the very poor favourite and the obvious scope to lay Overturn in running at short prices. I actually ended up with an average price of 25/1 in the day of race market.
