That run in was a form of torture.
Urgh. Convinced he would win before they hit the turn. Still, thank god for Sky and their silly offers.
That run in was a form of torture.
Ended up losing a tenner on a turnover of over€3K.Head is absolutely fried-timed out of betfair for 48hours.
This afternoon I was in work and punting on the phone-tonight I was at home looking after 2 kids and a dog. Ladbroke might be the ones to take on with the shop specials.
Main fancy is Royal Artillery in the Huxley on Thursday. He's of similar ability to Deauville who had the advantage of a run under his belt in the Gordon Richards (RA is huge and just gassed in the last furlong). The Stoute horse is too short given he's coming out of handicaps and Folkswood might be the main danger.
I also think Royal Artillery is an each way shot to nothing, guaranteed place in my view.

He is on a handy mark on the best of his turf form and i'm hoping the draw isn’t too much of an inconvenience over this trip. The ground will be fine for him so if David Allan can get him in a good position turning in he should have a great e/w chance at a nice price. Seems the sort that will be suited by Chester and hoping for a big run.
Top notch. Took 9/1 win only. Owe you a beer or three.
Pretty decent ride by L Dettori on Western Hymn there.
Still can't take to his personality.
