Don't understand why you just don't take you pot to a Paddy Power shop and pick them off.

My head is same as Luke's after Dundalk tonight. Last race, the second they left the gate, someone hovered up everything from about 11/2 down to 3/1 in the place market for the winner, even though it settled second to last. I got caught big time with it after two other completely dodgy results at Chelmsford earlier in the evening too. Never touching either meeting again.

This afternoon I was in work and punting on the phone-tonight I was at home looking after 2 kids and a dog. Ladbroke might be the ones to take on with the shop specials.

Walking into a Ladbrokes shop is a waste of time in general. Powers is where the cash is.

Main fancy is Royal Artillery in the Huxley on Thursday. He's of similar ability to Deauville who had the advantage of a run under his belt in the Gordon Richards (RA is huge and just gassed in the last furlong). The Stoute horse is too short given he's coming out of handicaps and Folkswood might be the main danger.

Brave call Euro, but I'd I'd worry about a "huge" horse around these tight turns. Not forgetting, of course, that Ryan Moore has first call on the Coolmore horses, and he's as unlikely to have chosen the wrong one as he was the last time they met.
Just my opinion but, in this small field, he'll likely turn this into a procession.

Jason Weaver suggested after Sandown that Royal Atillery should come on an awful lot for that race. He wasn’t top rated there and after disputing favouritism took a bit of a hike in the market. He is top rated here so if he can improve for that run he should take this yet is 4/1 in several places. That looks serious value and I wouldn't be surprised if serious professionals regarded it as an each-way steal. I don't imagine Coolmore will be unhappy at the prospect of Dettori keeping the ride here.

Cunco surely should have the beating of the coolmore 4 today. I'm not sure the 4 have beaten anything of any note and the form Cunco showed a few weeks ago should be more than enough to look after these and will hopefully have come on further for the run?

I also think Royal Artillery is an each way shot to nothing, guaranteed place in my view.

He is on a handy mark on the best of his turf form and i'm hoping the draw isn’t too much of an inconvenience over this trip. The ground will be fine for him so if David Allan can get him in a good position turning in he should have a great e/w chance at a nice price. Seems the sort that will be suited by Chester and hoping for a big run.

It didn't look like size was the reason for Royal Artillery's abysmal run. Clearly there was something to the market weakness surrounding him. Deauville hasn't even beaten Poet's Word by as far as he should have, which makes RA's run all the more disappointing.

Top notch. Took 9/1 win only. Owe you a beer or three.

Not much of a price, but Al Hayem travelled well in the Spring Cup and was vying for the lead below the distance, before not appearing to last home.
Should strip fitter today, and this easier track and lesser field should produce the goods for him.
5/2 best, but still worth backing.
