See this fellow is entered at Thurles tomorrow in a 3m Chase - due to be his first start since finishing tailed off at Auteuil in September 2009.

IIRC he was disqualified and banned from racing in Ireland and the UK after connections had been found guilty of running him under a different name (The Boxer) at Dingle pony races.

I thought this was a ban for life?

Has something happened recently to enable the horse to race again?

He's been allowed to run since Jan 1st this year after his penalty was reviewed last November
