Speaking of injuries...Buveir's operation reportedly went well. It'd be foolish of Nicky to rule him out for the season until he see's how the horse is in a week or two and how quickly the wound heals.

Twelve months is a long time for a horse like him to be out of action. I don't think they'll rule him out lightly.

Well that's the future for him. He's the speed for 2m4f but he stayed at Aintree well enough. He is relatively lightly raced and always looked like he'd have the scope to find a few extra pounds as he gets older now approaching eight years of age.
